{Fuquay Varina NC Newborn Photographer} Perfectly Fall Baby Portraits

It's no secret that fall is my favorite season, with spring coming in a close second (maybe I'm just a fan of mild weather).  I love everything about fall... the weather, the colors, the holidays, and the food (give me anything pumpkin).  I always have a little extra fun with my fall babies.  For this session, I loved using neutrals, but included some of my traditional soft colors as well as some really cute fall props.  I few days before this session, I had taken my two little boys to the Raleigh farmer's market and we picked out a few of these mini pumpkins.  I grabbed a couple off our porch to use as props.  I really like the way they turned out.

This baby boy is an extra special addition to this family. I photographed big brother when he was born 4 years prior and he was such a sweet little guy.  Just for fun, I dug up the blog post from big brother's session:  http://www.ericacourtinephotography.com/blog/2013/7/4th-of-july-newborn-session

We started this session with parent poses.  I usually try to get these completed first so parents can relax for the rest of the session.

Even though I do like to incorporate seasons and holidays into a few portraits, I really like to keep most of the session classic and timeless, so that the images can be displayed year-round in all areas of the house.  For this little guy, we pulled out blue, cream, and yellow to tie into the colors in his nursery.

I just loved this sweet little boy's features.  He had a perfect head of hair and the most adorable little eyelashes.  He was so so good during his session, too.  He didn't make a fuss the whole time and pretty much slept and ate the whole time.  Towards the end of this session, we used some really rich, beautiful earth tone colors to tie into fall.

I really enjoyed meeting this little cutie and working with his family again.  Fall babies will always have a special place in my heart.  If you are expecting a little one and are interested in creating gorgeous newborn portraits for your home, I would love to chat with you and answer any questions you have.  This is such a special time for your family.  Don't let it slip away!
