2017 Fall Mini-Sessions
Historic Oakview County Park
Sunday October 29th 3:30-6:30 pm
RAIN DATE: Saturday November 4, 2017
Thank you for your interest in family mini-sessions for Fall 2017. I've been doing mini-sessions for Raleigh families for the past several years as a way to serve families who don't need or want an entire portrait session.
This year, mini-sessions will be a little different in that they will be offered only to my current and past clients. Due to my schedule and limited availability, I am condensing mini-sessions to one day and 8 time slots. I am offering them only to families who have booked with me in the past, whether it was a newborn session, family session, or any other type of session. I truly appreciate your business and I want to reward you with special perks!
Your fall mini-session includes:
-A 15 minute photography session at Oakview County Park on Sunday October 29th for your immediate family members. Well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to join!
-A private online gallery of 10-12 proofs will be sent to you within a week of the session. You will choose your favorite 5 images for me to completely edit and send to you electronically, along with a print release. You will receive 3 copies of each image: a high resolution color, a high resolution B&W, and a low resolution for posting online.
-Any additional photos in your gallery of proofs may be purchased for $30 each or $100 for all extras.
-A 15% discount on all prints and products, including holiday cards, gifts, canvases, and frames.
New to mini-sessions? Here's how it works:
1. This year's mini-sessions will be held on Sunday October 29th at Historic Oakview County Park. This park is my very favorite location for fall family portraits. It is located in southeast Raleigh, at 4028 Carya Drive, just off the Poole Road exit of the beltline. The park is a historic farmstead, with a cotton field, beautiful maple and pecan trees, old fencing and barns, and a vineyard, among other beautiful features. All three images on this webpage were taken at Oakview in the fall.
2. Once your mini-session is selected, I will then send you a session agreement to sign. I'll also get in touch with you to discuss ages and the number of family members participating in the session, tips on what to wear, and answer any questions that you have.
3. Two days before the session, I will send you an email reminding you of your mini-session date and time. Mini-sessions must start and end on time. If you arrive late, it will shorten your session. Remember, mini-sessions are only 15 minutes to begin with, so being on time is important. I highly recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to make sure you have a place to park and have time to get to the meeting place.
4. On the date of the session, we will meet, have a fun time taking pictures of your family and individual children, and enjoy some lovely fall weather. If it is raining on the date of your mini-session I will call you in the morning and let you know that the mini-sessions will be canceled. We will then find a time to reschedule.
Mini-sessions are booked on a first paid, first booked basis. In order to make the process of booking mini-sessions easier, I give clients the ability to select and pay for their mini-session directly through my website.
