The garden is located behind WRAL, on Western Blvd in Raleigh, almost right across the street from NC State.  These mini-sessions are open to everyone, although my opinion is that because of the nature of the park's design, it would be especially good for a family with young children.

Here is something a little extra special about these mini-sessions.  It occurred to me that for the past 2 years, I haven't really gotten a chance to photograph any families at the gardens while the azaleas are in bloom (last year I got one session in while they were finishing up blooming). For the past 2 years in mid-April, I've gone on mission trips to Belize.  Sadly, this year, I'm not able to go.  The same group of women who have gone to Belize are now going to Costa Rica to serve in a part of the world that needs more help than ever.  I thought, since I can't go on the trip, I would like to help the group.  So for the first person who books a mini-session, I am going to give that session fee to the mission trip to use however they need to serve the women in Costa Rica.

Each mini-session is $125 and includes the following:

-A 20 minute photography session on April 9, 2016

-A private online gallery of 15 proofs.  You choose your favorite 8 to receive as a digital download.  You will receive each of your 8 photos in full resolution color, black and white, and a low resolution copy for using on the internet.

-A print release so that you can make your own prints.

-Additional digital files and prints may be purchased but there is no obligation to do so.

Mini-sessions are booked on a first paid, first booked basis.  In order to make the process of booking mini-sessions easier, I am giving clients the ability to select and pay for their mini-session directly through my website.

New to mini-sessions?  Here's how it works:

1.  Mini-sessions only take place at the designated location and date.  Select the time that you'd prefer and pay for your session.

2.  Once your mini-session is selected and paid, you will be directed to the session agreement for you to read and sign electronically.  I will get in touch with you so we can also discuss ages and the number of family members participating in the session, tips on what to wear, and answer any questions that you have.

3.  Two days before the session, I will send you an email reminding you of your mini-session time.  Mini-sessions must start and end on time.  If you arrive late, it will shorten your session.  I suggest arriving a few minutes early to make sure you are ready.  Remember, mini-sessions are only 20 minutes to begin with, so being on time is important.

4.  On the date of the session, we will meet, have a fun time taking pictures of your family and individual children, and enjoy some lovely spring weather.  If it is raining on the date of the mini-sessions I will call you in the morning and let you know that the mini-sessions will be canceled.  We will then find a time to reschedule.
